A startup pet food delivery company in New York is raking in $1 million in monthly sales after only being in business for a year and a half, CNN reports.

The company, PetFlow, allows customers to have pet food, treats and other pet-related products delivered to their homes according to a regular schedule. For example, if a customer needs a 30-pound bag of dog food every month, they can have PetFlow deliver it, without having to go to the store.

According to the article, close to 90 percent of PetFlow’s customers are women "who are not fans of hauling huge bags of pet food around."

The steep growth of the company shows that there is a market for scheduled delivery of pet products, and could open the door for other providers, or provide an opportunity for practices that have the means to offer similar services.
