Beginning Jan. 1, 2013, 10 states and two municipalities increased their minimum wage amounts. Two other municipalities are expected to follow suit in March.

While not all veterinary practices will be financially impacted by the 2013 wage increase, businesses are still required by law to post a notice regarding the updated minimum wage in a location that is conspicuous and accessible to employees.
