And introducing:

Heather Loenser
Thursday, September 13–Sunday, September 16

We are thrilled to have AAHA’s own Heather Loenser, DVM, on board as Connexity’s official content weaver, which, as Heather explains it, is like “an emcee on steroids.”

So, what exactly does a content weaver do? Heather will be working closely with our incredible keynote speakers and learning facilitators to “weave together” a cohesive message for you throughout the event. At the end of each day, she’ll help you “tie a bow” on all you have learned so you can confidently return to your practice armed with key takeaways and practical tips gleaned not only from the sessions you attended—but also those you didn’t.

As a born connector, Heather is excited to watch you meet, learn from, and bond with your colleagues in a setting that will help you enrich one another’s lives.

These sound like interesting speakers.  But why are they all men?  Veterinary medicine is becoming more and more driven by female clients and female veterinarians.  Many women relate to the world and interact with businesses in different ways than many men.  Speakers shouldn't be chosen based on gender alone, but please make an effort to truly evaluate female keynotes as well as male.  And pay them the same as their male counterparts.  Thanks for your consideration  E'Lise Christensen, DVM DACVB
