Take a look at what’s new with PHP

Partners for Healthy Pets

As we begin Partners for Healthy Pets’ (PHP) sixth year of existence, we want to thank you for helping us stay true to our mission of ensuring that pets receive the preventive healthcare they deserve through regular visits to a veterinarian.

An alliance of more than 100 veterinary associations, veterinary colleges, and animal health companies focused on preventive care led by AAHA and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), PHP has done a lot this year to help veterinary practice teams continue to excel.

We have done this in many ways, from the initial kickoff of The Opportunity Survey, which allows practices to get a true understanding of their strengths and weakness as a team, to our forward booking initiative, which helps ensure every pet owner has an appointment set before they leave the practice.

PHP also recently launched the Inactive Client Program, which has been proven to bring inactive clients back into the practice and is now utilized by over one thousand hospitals.

PHP has also been offering CE at conferences. This year, Karen Felsted, DVM, CPA, MS, CVPM, CVA and Karyn Gavzer, MBA, CVPM, worked with PHP to bring you “We’re at a Tipping Point: Believe You Can Achieve,” a case-based course that focuses on practical strategies with demonstrated success in bringing in and holding onto the kinds of pet owners you want in your practice. This presentation appeared at Western Veterinary Conference, AAHA Nashville 2017, and the American Veterinary Medical Association Convention. Keep checking back for what we have in store for 2018!

PHP's website provides the most recent preventive care information, updated guidelines, videos, content, and more. Start here for new videos on communications and feel free to explore.
