Today, pet owners rely heavily on the internet to evaluate and choose veterinary care providers. That’s why a website that speaks to potential clients is essential if you want to attract and convert them.

Not sure how to get started? Partners for Healthy Pets (PHP) has developed an Internet Strategy Implementation Series that can help. Turn your website into a “client-attracting machine” with these free resources:

Jumpstart Your Practice Online, Introduction: Created and presented by practicing veterinarian and managing director of a successful web development firm, Michael Warren, DVM, this series includes instructional video modules on strategies for establishing an effective online presence. Each of the five modules in the series features two 30-minute segments accompanied by printable worksheets. In addition, all of the modules are supported by live interactive webinars, in which participants can ask questions and receive helpful coaching and tips.

Jumpstart Your Practice Online, Module 1–Start with the Message: The importance of your hospital’s message—the premise on which your entire practice will be perceived by the public—cannot be stressed enough. In this module, you will learn how to craft your message to attract and inspire potential clients to join your practice.

Jumpstart Your Practice Online, Module 2a–Veterinary Websites: It is important to be mindful that your hospital’s website is your virtual front door, and to understand that every potential and current client is evaluating you based on its presentation. In this module, you will review several website examples (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and learn how to create an exceptional first impression.

Jumpstart Your Practice Online, Module 2b–Veterinary Websites: This workshop-style tutorial will reveal the key features of a client-attracting website. By the end of the session, you will know exactly which components you need to have in place to make your website the cornerstone of your client engagement and practice growth efforts.
