Cedar Valley College, AAHA’s partner in the Distance Education Veterinary Technology Program (DEVTP), was recently named one of the best programs for aspiring technicians, according to Veterinary Practice News.

In addition to its core online content—including pharmacy and pharmacology, surgical preparation and assistance, animal nursing, radiology and ultrasound, and laboratory and examination procedures—DEVTP requires upper level coursework to be completed in a clinical setting to provide hands-on experience.

The AVMA-accredited program, which boasts flexible scheduling and outstanding instructor support, has been educating future veterinary technicians through distance learning since 2001.

Registration is now open and spring classes start on Jan. 20. To learn more about the DEVTP program or enroll, visit aaha.org/devtp.
