Forward booking works. Here’s proof

Partners for Healthy Pets

Is your practice forward booking?

Forward booking simply means scheduling all patients’ future appointments directly following their current visit—before they leave the practice. This includes booking appointments for medical progress exams and for preventive healthcare exams.

Forward booking ensures your patients receive the highest quality care at the right time.

That’s why Partners for Healthy Pets (PHP) and Veterinary Medical Association Executives (VMAE) have designed a free, downloadable suite of tools to help you implement forward booking in your practice. When you put all the pieces together, the result is healthier patients and a healthier practice.

Start by finding out how other practices have successfully implemented forward booking at their hospitals.

PHP and VMAE launched a Forward Booking WORKS! Testimonial Contest, which resulted in numerous success stories from practices. Check out the winners’ written and video testimonials and see how your peers are successfully implementing forward booking in their practices.

Once you find out how forward booking has had a powerful impact on their bottom lines, get started with forward booking in your practice by downloading and reading the short booklet Forward-Booking Appointments: How to Fill Your Appointment Schedule, listed under the Forward Booking tab on the PHP website.

Partners for Healthy Pets, an alliance of more than 100 veterinary associations, veterinary colleges, and animal health companies focused on preventive care, and led by AAHA and the American Veterinary Medical Association, is offering these free, downloadable tools to help your practice incorporate forward booking so you can fill your appointment schedule up to a year in advance.

Check out the site today and see how you can make forward booking work for you.
