It’s estimated that over 205 billion emails were sent and received per day in 2015, and that number is only going to increase. With your clients’ inboxes filling up, it’s important to incorporate a multi-channel approach to client communications.

Establishing a regular schedule of "coming due" and "past due" postcard reminders is a great way to increase compliance and keep patients coming back. These communications can also be supported with additional email and text message reminders.

Here are three tips for making the most of your postcard communications:

  • Use an automated solution. Help your team stay focused on treating patients—not creating, printing, and sending reminders. Postcard content should be automatically populated through your practice management software, personalized with your logo, and sent at predefined time.
  • Select an engaging design. The imagery should be species-specific, relevant to the reminder, and include targeted messaging. Always address patients by name—this level of personalization will go a long way with your clients.
  • Have a clear call to action. Make it easy for pet owners to understand why they received your reminder and exactly what they need to do with the information provided.

Right now, IDEXX Pet Health Network Pro is offering 20 percent off postcards for first-time users.* Take advantage of this offer today.

* Must be a new or existing IDEXX Pet Health Network® Pro customer to qualify. Discount is available for three months only. Additional restrictions apply.
