Our rescue cat has diabetes, which can be quite expensive on its own. In addition, my dog, Ikey, needed surgery to remove a cancerous lymph node, and may also need chemotherapy. While I put money away each month for pet expenses, the costs added up and pretty much depleted those funds. Thankfully, I have CareCredit to take up the slack. Tammy P., Melbourne, Fla.

Practice your passion with the CareCredit healthcare credit card that has been recommended for AAHA members for 20 years. Members can get started for only $25 if they apply to enroll by Jan. 31, 2016. For information, call 800-300-3046 or visit carecredit.com.
