Canine Life Stage Guidelines Completed in 2012, the AAHA Canine Life Stage Guidelines is the most complete and medically sound compilation of updates, insights, advice, and recommendations developed to help guide the veterinary practitioner in designing a comprehensive, individualized wellness plan for each stage of a dog's life. In order to help our members implement the recommendations of the guidelines in their practices, we created the AAHA Canine Life Stage Guidelines Implementation Toolkit, which was included with the June issue of Trends magazine. The toolkit includes checklists, model protocols, a client handout, and other tools you can use to ensure your canine patients receive an individualized approach to handling, preventive care, and early disease detection.

We are happy to announce that the online version of this toolkit is now available and can be accessed here. We hope you will take advantage of this and other valuable tools AAHA supplies to aid you in providing excellent companion animal care.
