Open to all members of the veterinary team, the Animal Hospice and Palliative Care Certificate Program is a six-module online continuing education course dedicated to improving animal hospice, palliative care, and the euthanasia experience.

Each module includes a brief exam, which will need to be successfully completed before moving on to the next module. When all six modules have been completed, participants will receive six hours of CE credit and a certificate of completion.

The program costs $149 for AAHA members and $179 for nonmembers.

Designed for all staff members of veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, and animal control facilities, as well as students in veterinary and veterinary technician programs, this seven-module online continuing education course provides an overview of microchip implantation and scanning procedures, standards and equipment, databases and registration, the reunification process, and more.

When all modules have been completed, participants must pass a final exam to complete the course. Upon finishing the course, participants will receive one hour of CE credit and a certificate of completion.
