  • AAHA-Accredited Practice Breakfast: What makes a champion? For marketing executive and professional speaker, Kevin Brown, being a hero is about being your best when it matters most (hint: it always matters). Join us for complimentary breakfast and uncover the secret to creating a culture of heroes at every level in your practice during this exclusive session just for accredited members.
  • Morris Animal Foundation: Speakers will present the latest research on the topics of new genetic discoveries for heart disease in dogs and cats and how to use this information in general practice; the development of an antiviral treatment for FIP with preliminary results from field cases; and an update on the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, including cancer outcomes, current related studies, and future research directions.
  • Neurology: Veterinary neurologist, Dr. Emma Davies, will focus her sessions on the history, physical exam findings, and neurological exam findings that allow clinicians to accurately localize a lesion in the central or peripheral nervous system. Videos and case discussions will be included. Don’t miss this important review of neurology.
  • Technician leadership: Industry consultant and certified veterinary practice manager Bashore Halow will discuss the role technicians play in leading the way toward major practice goals and share his personal experiences with disastrous leadership habits. All three sessions are designed for technicians, whether they are in leadership positions or not.
  • Human resources:Run your business more efficiently while mitigating possible risks. This track will cover all aspects of human resources, including change management and training, best personnel practices, and navigating the legal side of veterinary business.
