Going back to school full time is something many working adults find nearly impossible to do. That's why distance, or online, learning is an excellent way for these adults to build professional credentials and work toward degree completion while maintaining their demanding work and home schedules.

Why should you go back to school?

  1. Build confidence
  2. Increase earning potential
  3. Take on more responsibilities, putting you in a position for future career advancement
  4. Improve your social and business networks
  5. Gain a competitive edge

The Distance Education Veterinary Technology Program (DEVTP) is a longstanding, joint effort by Cedar Valley College and the American Animal Hospital Association. It is the only online, AVMA-accredited, AAHA-recommended veterinary technology program available, providing veterinary assistants, or others interested in a career in veterinary medicine, with the opportunity to become credentialed technicians and earn an associate's degree, all while maintaining their full-time careers.
