Quick: What’s the most famous holiday in July?

No, we’re not talking about National Free Slurpee Day (it’s July 11, in case you were wondering), Amazon Prime Day (July 16), International Kissing Day (July 6), or even that other famous holiday in July: Independence Day (c’mon, you know this one).

We’re talking about AAHA-Accredited Hospital Day (July 22)!

On July 22, AAHA-accredited practices all over the U.S. and Canada celebrated the third annual AAHA-Accredited Hospital Day by showing their communities what makes them stand out as Champions for Excellent Care.

Since 2016, AAHA-Accredited Hospital Day has highlighted the exceptional care provided by accredited practices. It has also provided an opportunity to educate pet owners about the value of taking their pets to hospitals that hold themselves to a higher standard (well, actually about 900 higher standards).

Practicing top-notch medicine isn’t the only quality that sets AAHA-accredited hospitals apart—it turns out that they also know how to throw a killer party. Here’s a gander at some of the ways AAHA-accredited practice teams celebrated the third annual AAHA-Accredited Hospital Day.
