Practice managers come from all backgrounds, practice sizes, and skill levels, which can make finding the right continuing education program a challenge. Whether you’re brand new to practice management or fall somewhere between beginner and expert, AAHA’s Veterinary Management Series can help.
We’re excited to announce our longstanding program for new and up-and-coming practice managers and our newest, midlevel management program have come together under one umbrella. Created to meet the needs of managers at various stages of their careers, these programs are designed to complement each other and may be taken individually or consecutively.
Veterinary Management Series: Practice Essentials
Formerly known as Veterinary Management School (VMS), this popular and trusted program focuses on essential practice management topics including accounting and finance principles, employment law, inventory and medical records management, and much more.
Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing
This midlevel program goes beyond a cursory overview to delve deep into its titular topics, from developing HR best practices to creating a winning—and manageable—digital marketing plan.
“The alignment of these programs—and the subsequent name change—is meant to help members better understand the continuum of management courses we offer,” said AAHA’s Senior Manager of Learning Programs, Amy Johnson, BS, LVT, RLATG. “We have programs for new, seasoned, and experienced managers. These can be taken in order, or if you have more advanced skills, you can jump in at a higher level.”
