Amy Stone, DVM, PhD

Amy Stone earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999 and her PhD in 2002. Her PhD focus was pulmonary immunology and her post-doctoral research involved work on a human periodontal vaccine. Since 2006, she has worked as the chief of the Primary Care and Dentistry Service at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stone teaches at all levels of the UF veterinary curriculum with special interests in vaccinology, wellness care, oral medicine, and dentistry.
