Sara Hoff, DVM, MPH, Dip. ACVD

Dr. Hoff attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, graduating summa cum laude. She then pursued a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Minnesota before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Hoff practiced general medicine in the St. Louis area for three years following veterinary school. She then completed a three-year veterinary dermatology residency at Iowa State University in Ames, IA, and became board-certified in 2021. She joined the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center at the Mizzou Veterinary Health Center in Wentzville after completing her residency.

Dr. Hoff enjoys all aspects of veterinary dermatology but has a particular interest in managing allergies, chronic ear infections, autoimmune skin diseases, and carbon dioxide laser surgery. She also enjoys teaching the third- and fourth-year veterinary students during their clinical rotations.

Outside of work, Dr. Hoff enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She and her husband have one human child, a son named Caleb, and three fur children – two crazy Shelties and a toothless Chihuahua.
