Is my data secure?

All your data is handled using proprietary software, so the data that appears in AAHA Benchmarking is:

  • Anonymized
  • Processed with algorithms to prevent reversibility

  • Stored with high levels of security and encryption

You can add your data to AAHA Benchmarking to optimize your practice with peer-sourced, timely metrics, knowing that security is our utmost concern.

Standards

Do I need to use the AAHA chart of accounts to use this product?

No. Petabyte natively uses the AAHA chart of accounts and diagnostic codes as its foundation for benchmarking and its analytics platform. These tools work behind the scenes to standardize the data, allowing you to benchmark your practice against others, no matter how any practice is entering financial data.

What happens if I’m not using the AAHA COA?

Nothing happens to your PIMS data – it is the Petabyte Matcher tool that cleans and standardizes the output in AAHA Benchmarking, allowing practices to compare performance. The continuous migration wizard and the Matcher work in unison so all new entries are cleaned and standardized.

Product Setup

How do I connect my PIMS?

In order to connect your PIMS to AAHA Benchmarking+, you'll need to download and install a secure application provided by Petabyte. Once you've completed the member validation process and entered your credit card details, you'll receive an email with the app and instructions for installing it. The app then provides live data streams to the veterinary benchmarking product.

What PIMS does AAHA Benchmarking work with?

AAHA Benchmarking products currently work with more than 20 different PIMS, including AVImark, Cornerstone, and Intravet. Please contact us to see if your PIMS is already set up.

How long does it take to set up the PIMS continuous migration?

It takes about 20 minutes to set up the Migration Wizard in order to begin the continuous migration process. The continuous migration of your PIMS data to the Benchmarking product is what makes live veterinary benchmarking across the profession possible.

What steps are involved in setting up the PIMS continuous migration?

Once you’ve set up the Migration Wizard, you will have access to Petabyte’s library of FAQs, which provide more information and explainers to guide you through the migration process.

Will I need technical support to set up the PIMS continuous migration?

Set up is relatively straightforward and most practices install the app and complete setup on their own. However, for anyone that needs some extra assistance, we do provide a service via Lucca Professional Install that can help practices complete setup. Please contact us for details.
