Barden Greenfield, DVM, DAVDC

Barden Greenfield is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) practicing dentistry and oral surgery in Memphis, Tennessee and Little Rock, Arkansas.  He is currently the President-elect of the AVDC (American Veterinary Dental College) and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the AVDS (American Veterinary Dental Society) and the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry. Dr. Greenfield is also the founder of the MVVDEC (Mississippi Valley Veterinary Dental Educational Center) in Memphis, TN where he provides dental education to veterinarians and technicians in the Central United States. He also lectures on the local, state, and national level on topics related to veterinary dentistry and has authored articles for the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry.

In his spare time, Dr. G enjoys playing golf and spending time with his lovely wife and three children. He also travels to follow the LSU Tigers and the North Carolina Tar Heels. 

Steven Holmstrom, DVM, DAVDC

Steven E. Holmstrom, DVM, Dipl. AVDC, currently spends his professional time in volunteer work with the Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation (PEIVDF) and performing dental procedures on marine mammals.  He was formerly at the Animal Dental Clinic in San Carlos, California.  He was certified by the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) 1989.  Dr. Holmstrom earned his DVM degree from the University of Missouri in 1972. He is a Past President of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC), Academy of Veterinary Dentistry (AVD) and American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS) and the current Treasurer of the AVDC.  Dr. Holmstrom also is co-chairman of the PEIVDF.  His newest textbook came out in June, 2012 titled: Veterinary Dentistry, A Team Approach.

For recreation he is an underwater SCUBA instructor, Ham radio operator, motorhome enthusiast, and avid sailor.

Jeanne Perrone, CVT, VTS (dentistry)

Jeanne Perrone, CVT, VTS (dentistry) obtained her A.A.S. degree in veterinary technology from Parkland College, Champaign, IL and was credentialed as a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Dentistry in 2006. She is currently self-employed as a consultant, trainer, and educator for technicians in veterinary dentistry. Jeanne also serves as an adjunct instructor for the BAS VT program in dentistry at St Petersburg College and online instructor of dentistry courses at Vetmedteam.com. Jeanne has edited and published the book Small Animal Dental Procedures for Veterinary Technicians and Nurses, in 2012 by Wiley-Blackwell. She also worked from 2006–2015 as a dentistry technician at Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists in Largo, FL and The Pet Dentist of Tampa Bay in Wesley Chapel, FL. Jeanne is a founding member and former president of the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians – A NAVTA Specialty Group which certifies, trains and mentors credentialed technicians to be specialists in dentist
