Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing FAQs

What is Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing?

This is a new intermediate-level veterinary practice management program focusing on practice culture, human resources, and digital marketing. Participants will learn from the industry’s top experts in these areas, work on case studies, and return to their practices with immediately implementable action plans.

Why Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing?

After surveying graduates of Veterinary Management School, conducting educational surveys of our members, and analyzing feedback from other management courses, it became clear that practice culture, human resources, and digital marketing were topics our members wanted more education on at a much deeper level. We felt that there was a strong need for a dedicated practice management program that focused on these three topics.

How are these three topics related?

Culture, HR, and marketing are related to one another through the overarching idea of practice culture. Your culture is a part of everything you do, including how you market your practice and how you attract, retain, and motivate your team.

Do I have to be a graduate of Veterinary Management School before enrolling in Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing?

No, you can register for any of our management courses at any time. We do recommend that you choose the program you feel best fits your experience level in veterinary practice management in order to get the most out of the content presented.

I see that HR and marketing are topics covered in Veterinary Management School—what's the difference between how these topics are covered in each program?

Human Resources:

In Veterinary Management School, the topic of HR focuses almost exclusively on employment law. Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing delves into human resources at a much deeper level, including how to effectively perform and utilize employee evaluations, and how to recruit, train, and mentor a thriving staff.
Marketing:
In Veterinary Management School, the marketing component covers best practices for external and internal marketing at a fairly high level. Veterinary Management Series: Culture, HR, and Marketing focuses exclusively on digital marketing, and attendees will return to their practices with an immediately implementable digital marketing plan.

Is this new program CVPM-qualified?

Yes! You'll earn 28 CVPM-qualified CE hours.
