Evaluate a Job

How does that job you’re considering stack up against your mission?

There are many factors to consider when evaluating a job opportunity. Money and location aside, one of the most important issues is whether or not the job will move you forward in the direction you want your life to go.

One way to answer that question is to weigh each job opportunity against your personal mission. To make the process easier, type your mission statement in the box below, answer the short, online quiz then print the page and review your answers.

We won’t tell you how to evaluate your responses — that decision is up to you — but you should be able to tell at a glance if there are any major conflicts between your mission and the job.

If you’re not sure about any answers, consider asking for detailed information during interviews or following up with practice representatives if interviews already occurred.

When you’re finished, click "Done".
