Using the Spreadsheets to Analyze Your Data

The file you’ll use to analyze your target practice is the Excel spreadsheet file titled “Template for Analyzing a Target Practice.xls.” You will want to copy the file to your hard drive or desktop.

Once you’ve copied the file to your computer, double click the file to open it. Now you can start entering your data! Note that there are three different tabs at the bottom of the screen. These are titled:

  • Revenue & Expenses
  • Assets Liab & Equity
  • Expected Cash Flow

Using the Checklist

“Appendix G Buying a Practice Checklist.xls” is an editable version of the checklist in Appendix G of the book. You can add or delete questions as needed to fit your needs. You will want to copy the file to your hard drive or desktop.
