Labrador retrievers were ranked as America s favorite purebred dog for the sixteenth year in a row, according to the annual survey conducted by the American Kennel Club (AKC). Shaking up the list this year is the gains made by the Yorkshire Terrier, a breed that is poised to displace Golden retrievers in the well-established number two slot.
