Rabid beaver bites 3 in Pa.

Pennsylvania state officials killed a rabid beaver in a Phildelphia park last week, according to local news station myfoxphilly.com.
According to the report, the beaver attacked a couple who were fishing in the park, and a young girl in a separate incident. The June attacks are the second by a rabid beaver this year. In April, a fisherman was attacked and bitten by another beaver that he killed. It was later confirmed to have the virus.
Game Commission officials are urging people to avoid the area where the attacks occurred, near the Pennypack Creek waterfront in the northeast part of the city. So far no other rabid beavers have been located, but officials are on the lookout.
