Bayer eyes Pfizer Animal Health
Bayer AG is reportedly considering a bid for Pfizer Inc’s. Animal Health Division, according to a news report from Bloomberg published Wednesday.
Bayer, the largest German drugmaker, is reportedly in the beginning stages of considering a bid for the Pfizer Animal Health division, which could sell for $14 billion to $18 billion in a sale.
According to Bloomberg, the bid for Pfizer’s Animal Health unit would be Bayer’s second attempt in three years to strengthen its production of veterinary products.
