Charlee Bear Products initiates recall of Protein Crunch Bars
Possible salmonella risk has prompted Charlee Bear Products to recall specific lots of its Protein Crunch Bar products.
The bars, which are intended for dogs, were distributed across the country in September and October 2012, according to a recall notice from the manufacturer.
Charlee Bear Products says that although no human or animal illnesses have been reported, the company is recalling the products as a precautionary measure after finding traces of salmonella in a finished product sample of the bars.
