Voluntary recall issued for Priority Total Pet Care All Natural Bullstrips

Carolina Prime Pet Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for Priority Total Pet Care All Natural Bullstrips due to a positive test for salmonella contamination.

The recalled product comes in five-packs and features the following UPC number: 0-21130-42080-3. The product also can be identified by lot codes 20082712 S 3195 and 20090312 S3195, according to a news release from the manufacturer.

According to Carolina Prime Pet Inc., the product was distributed from September 2012 through late November. Distribution sites included:

Carolina Prime Pet Inc. advises consumers to take the recalled product back to the point of purchase for refunds or replacement.
