To keep you updated on the latest recalls, NEWStat has compiled the following list detailing several companies that have recently issued voluntary recalls:
Kasel Associated Industries
Kasel Associated Industries, which recalled several products over the past year, expanded its list to include more than 50 products. The company is recalling all products made at its Denver facility from April 20 to September 20, 2012, due to the risk of salmonella contamination. Products manufactured by Kasel are distributed by many major retailers nationwide including Target, Sam's Club, Costco, and Petco.
According to nbcnews.com, Kasel’s voluntary recall came after the FDA threatened the company with a mandatory recall due to at least two inspections that found health issues at the company’s manufacturing facility in Denver.
