Steve’s Real Food, a Utah-based manufacturer of all-natural raw dog food, is recalling its “Turducken Canine Diet - 8 oz. Patties” due to possible salmonella contamination.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture initially discovered the contamination risk after a sampling of one bag of the patties, the company said in a news release.

The recalled products come in a 5-pound biodegradable film bag featuring green and cream colors. The bags have lot number 209-10-27-13 and have an expiration date of Oct. 27, 2013.

According to Steve’s Real Food, the products were distributed from October 2012 through January 13 in retail stores in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, California, Minnesota, and Tennessee.
