Nestlé Purina voluntary recalls limited amount of Purina ONE dry dog food
Nestlé Purina has issued a voluntary recall for a limited amount of Purina ONE beyOnd Our White Meat Chicken & Whole Barley Recipe Adult Dry Dog Food due to the discovery of one bag that contained salmonella.
According to the press release posted on the FDA website, the recall involves a limited number of 3.5-pound bags of food that were made during a single production run and shipped to retail customers in the United States.
No salmonella-related illnesses have been reported as of yet, and no additional Purina or Purina ONE products are affected by the voluntary recall, the manufacturer said.

Instructions for consumers
Nestlé Purina advises consumers who have purchased bags of recalled food to immediately stop feeding the food to dogs and discard the product.
