Veterinary professionals have regained access to a popular emergency drug calculator offered by the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital that the institution had taken offline for a while.

The Emergency Drug Calculator, originally created to provide help in planning for, and the management of, severe veterinary emergencies in dogs and cats, can be accessed by following these instructions:

1. Visit the CSU website page for the Emergency Drug Calculator.
2. Click on "Emergency Drug Calculator Spreadsheet."
3. A pop-up should appear asking you if you want to open the Excel spreadsheet. Click "open."
4. If another pop-up box appears instructing you to enter your credentials (see image below), click "cancel" and you should gain access to the calculator.
