Free webinar on impact of millennials to a practice
Millennials will comprise 50 percent of the workforce by 2020 and 75 percent in 2030, according to Bersin by Deloitte, a research and advisory services firm. What does that mean for veterinary practices? An upcoming free webinar may hold some answers.
On Jan 25, Kansas State University's Master of Agribusiness (MAB) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) are hosting a free webinar, “Millennials: Impact on the Veterinary Workforce,” by AVMA Economics Director Michael Dicks, PhD. The webinar is at 12 p.m. CST.
Dicks will discuss the impact of millennials both in the veterinary workforce and as pet owner populations. He will also share information on the effect of the current debt-to-income issues on millennial employees’ performance as well as practice changes in services to meet millennial pet owners’ needs.
The webinar is free, but attendees must register online. For more about the webinar, contact Deborah Kohl, [email protected], 785-532-4495.
