These free, online tools are worth a pound of cure. Plus 9 credit hours of RACE- and CVPM-approved CE

Learn how preventive care can make a positive difference in your practice with the Preventive Healthcare Certificate Program from Partners for Healthy Pets (PHP). This free, 10-module online course provides veterinary students, technicians, associate veterinarians, and practice owners with information on how to provide preventive healthcare in conjunction with yearly visits, and to communicate the value and benefit of preventive care to clients.

Upon completion, participants will be able to download a RACE- and CVPM-approved certificate for nine CE credits.

PHP, an alliance of more than 100 veterinary associations, veterinary colleges, and animal health companies focused on preventive care led by AAHA and the American Veterinary Medical Association, offers free, downloadable tools to help your practice incorporate preventive care as a key component in improving the lives of your patients and their owners.

Once you complete the online, 10-module certificate program, you will improve the overall quality of preventive healthcare you provide to your patients. Topics covered range from preventive healthcare guidelines implementation to social media tips, and the program can be completed on your own time.

Among other skills you’ll acquire, you’ll be able to:

  • Describe preventive healthcare and its importance to primary care veterinary practice and your clients.
  • Apply the Partners for Healthy Pets Resource Toolbox to the development of a preventive healthcare program in you practice.
  • Once you’ve completed all the modules, you’ll be eligible to download a certificate of completion. The RACE- and CVPM-approved course offers a total of nine CE credit hours.

Remember, prevention is key!
