Alea Harrison, DVM

Alea Harrison, DVM, is vice president of veterinary internal operations at Banfield Pet Hospital, where she leads the medical quality team within the practice’s Veterinary Affairs function. She is driven by her passion for helping to drive quality across the practice’s more than 1,000 hospitals nationwide, mentoring and supporting doctors along their veterinary journey, and connecting with communities that are underrepresented in veterinary medicine.

Throughout her career, Harrison has directly influenced hundreds of future and current veterinarians. She is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she’s called home for the last 15 years with her two daughters and husband. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and relaxation.
