Tiny tapeworm mimics symptoms of liver cancer

Echinococcus multilocularis is well established in wild canids in southern Ontario, and could migrate to the US. Adult  E. multilocularis  infect wild carnivores, including foxes, wolves and coyotes, but may also affect dogs and cats.
