More slots open in AVMA-funded veterinary technician study
The research study being conducted at Cornell University, funded by the AVMA that looks at veterinary technician optimization opened more spots earlier this month.

Researchers with a study focused on veterinary technician optimization reopened earlier this month. Those working on the AVMA-funded study are encouraging veterinary practices to enroll their practice. They can do so by filing out this survey. The research is being performed at Cornell University.
What the AVMA-funded veterinary technician study
The study window now extends until March 15. The AVMA states that “Any practice interested in identifying ways to better employ your veterinary technicians’ full skill sets” can apply.

According to a post by the AVMA, brief surveys will be filled out by the practices business manager, veterinarians, and veterinary technician throughout the course of several months. The total time commitment from each employee will be 1-2 hours for the length of the entire project.
