The DVM Parent Project, a group of researchers from within the veterinary industry with an interest in the needs of working parents, is conducting a survey on parental leave policies in privately owned and nonprofit veterinary practices. The survey is open to any team members who work in such practices and have knowledge of the practice’s parental leave offerings.

According to the survey investigators, the goals of the research are to gain a better understanding of how practices offer parental leave and learn what barriers practices face when offering parental leave.

This survey is approved by an Institutional Research Board, ensuring that participant privacy and ethical research standards are upheld. All responses will be kept secure and anonymous, and the survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

Survey participants can enter a raffle to win a $250 Grubhub gift card to buy lunch for their team.

The survey can be accessed here.
