International Dog Day 2024: Resources and reading to help celebrate our canine companions
August 26 is a day to celebrate our canine pals everywhere. While the official International Dog Day holiday has only been around for 20 years, dogs have been by our side for thousands of years. We’ve created a list of all of our recent resources focused on our four-legged friends.
There’s a good reason we call dogs “man’s best friend.” For thousands of years, humans and dogs have existed together, and while we can’t be sure the dogs of millennia past really loved getting their bellies rubbed, there’s no denying the unique bond we share with our canine friends
So, in honor of dogs everywhere on this International Dog Day, here is a list of recent resources from AAHA we’ve curated to help ensure the best care for pups across the globe.
