Customer Care Representative

Why is Sara Tate so awesome?
Sara has been with TRAH for 20 years this year and always has a smile on her face. The clients know her by name and ask for her often. She is the person who is called in when there is an issue with a client, an unhappy client, or if there is a client who needs a product reaction called in. She is very knowledgeable about the hospital and its inner workings.
How does she go above and beyond?
The best part of Sara is that she is so focused on the client. She knows them by name and their family members’ names. They love her and her personal touch. Sara does not get aggravated when she gets pulled away from her job to hear about the latest family drama from a client, she just lends an ear like an old friend.
Why do you love your job?
Everything! Clients, patients, employers, employees, my work environment. I wouldn’t have stayed this long if I was unhappy. I think my employers like me too. 🙂
Tell us about your pets at home
What not to say. Our kitten gets into EVERYTHING. We have to unfold the rugs on a daily basis. Our Chi x loves to sneak up behind a selected few to bite their ankles and then run away. Our 35-pound mix breed dog does no wrong. He greets me every day with love and a shoe, doesn’t matter what shoe, just a shoe. Good thing they are intact at presentation.
We have 3 cats which are hoots to watch playing in the grass. The stalking is fun to watch, especially if it is with each other. Our 2 tortoises have great personalities. They are a great joy when not “in season.” The ramming hurts! Our pond is full of fish, including 3 koi, several goldfish, 2 bluegill and a Horney head, oh and a bullfrog that loves to scare the *ell out of me. The snake is my grown son’s that he will one day take home. I will not be holding my breath on that one. That is it for now, but as with all veterinary employed folks, things are, as they say, “subject to change.”
What brought you to the profession?
My high school student councilor when I told her what I wanted to be when I grew up.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Gardening, animal rearing and enjoying the outdoors.
Favorite book?
The Jungle Book (ever since I was a kid). I don’t watch a lot of TV. Too busy with the animals.
