Why is Bailey so awesome?

Bailey lost her younger brother last year as well as her heart dog, the most adorable, sweetest Mini Dachshund named Betty. Despite everything, she was voted the most likely to bring a smile to your face by everyone in our clinic.

How does she go above and beyond?

“How doesn’t she go above or beyond?” is a better question. She is the go-to for everyone in the clinic, from CSRs to the veterinarians, about literally everything from ordering office supplies to anesthetic emergency troubleshooting.
She constantly brings in baked goods for the staff and is always telling everyone how great they’re doing. She’s the #1 fan of every single other person in the clinic and we are all her #1 fan.
She’s not only a great person but one of the best technicians/nurses I’ve known, and I’ve been working in vet med for over 20 years. There’s not a blood draw, catheter placement, cysto, dental cleaning, etc., that she can’t do, and she will do it with a smile.

Why do you love your job?

I love being part of an incredible culture providing excellent medial care and prolonging the human animal bond.

Tell us about your pets at home

I collect Boston terriers and my first dog was the most perfect mini dachshund. I also have a feral naked cat who keeps me on my toes.

What brought you to the profession?

I always knew I wanted to work with animals and as I grew up and learned more the nursing care really spoke to me.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

I love running, rock climbing and pottery. Any sort of art, I’m in.
