Our guest this week is Mark Thompson DVM, MBA, CCRP, the former AAHA board president, a practice owner, and task force member of the 2024 AAHA Community Care Guidelines for Small Animal Practice. He also recently wrote and published a book titled: Redefining veterinary workplace efficiency, building stronger teams through people process and purpose. He’s an advocate for team-based healthcare, so much so that he redefined his entire practice’s business model around it. In this episode he also shares how that change impacted staff, clients, and his role – and shares the success that followed.
