Jonathan Wainberg

Jonathan Wainberg brings nearly 20 years of financial services expertise and leadership to his role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Pet and Co-Brand business at Synchrony, one of the nation’s premier consumer financial services companies. Jonathan is responsible for business development, commercial ingenuity, market expansion, and revenue growth as part of the Health & Wellness platform, comprised of more than 260,000 health providers nationwide. He oversees the Health & Wellness co-brand portfolio.

Prior to its sale to Independence Pet Holdings (IPH), Jonathan oversaw Pets Best insurance, growing it from number eight in the pet insurance market to number three. He is a member of the IPH Board of Directors and sits on the Compensation Committee, overseeing Synchrony’s largest investment and the cross-functional team responsible for expanding Synchrony’s presence in the pet insurance market and adjacent industries.
