Meet Katie Ford and Claire Grigsom, veterinarians, coaches, speakers, and founders of Vet Empowered. Through Vet Empowered, they offer coaching programs, continuing education, workshops, and events that help veterinary professionals reconnect with themselves and reclaim their worth beyond their job titles.
“Vet Empowered was founded in 2020, after we both experienced the life-changing effects of coaching, and wanted to bring that to the profession,” Ford and Grigsom explained. “We’ve spent years working with hundreds of veterinary professionals, and speaking to thousands more, supporting them to create a sustainable and fulfilling path in the profession.”
One of the projects the two are most excited about is a two-part online series they are running in collaboration with clinical psychologist Helena Tucker on creating hormone friendly veterinary workplaces and cultures. Ford and Grigsom said that these topics are not talked about very much within the veterinary industry and that this conversation will be “really powerful.”
