Position vacancies and additional information
The application process for the 2024/2025 fiscal year will open on January 15th, 2024 and close on February 23rd, 2024.
For AAHA's 2024/2025 fiscal year, applications will be accepted for a licensed veterinarian who was an Accredited Practice Team Member for no less than three (3) consecutive years at least six (6) months prior to their accession to the office.
Board members are expected to:
- attend face-to-face board meetings three times per year,
- attend virtual board meetings four times per year,
- attend and engage with members at AAHA's annual conference,
- participate in telephone conference calls as scheduled, and
- maintain regular communication via email.
How to Apply:
Applications will be accepted starting January 15th, 2024. Application deadline will be February 23rd, 2024. Application package will include three items; a resume, a Competency Self Assessment and a letter of intent or cover letter to seek a board position that will be emailed by clicking the below button.
Candidates selected for in person interviews will be invited to Denver, Colorado on Friday May 17th and Saturday May 18th. Travel costs will be reimbursed for candidates who are invited to attend an in person interview. We highly encourage candidates to attend a face to face interview but virtual interviews can take place in extenuating circumstances.
