Mass. Practice wins first AAHA-Accredited Practice of the Year award

Countryside Veterinary Hospital of Chelmsford, Mass., was named the inaugural AAHA-Accredited Practice of the Year at the association’s yearly conference in March. The award recognizes the outstanding achievements of accredited practice teams.

The award recognizes achievement in several areas, including:

  • accreditation score
  • mission and vision
  • staffing
  • continuing education and training
  • community service
  • compliance for canine fecal compliance and dental prophys

A panel of judges selected the winners from a pool of 45 entries.

“AAHA believes that the success of a veterinary practice depends on the entire team working together to provide quality pet care,” said AAHA Executive Director Mike Cavanaugh, DVM, DABVP. “These practices epitomize the word team, and they demonstrate a passionate commitment to veterinary excellence.”
