"America’s vet" lends a hand to AAHA fund
The American Animal Hospital Association’s (AAHA) Helping Pets Fund is getting a helping hand from a TV celebrity. "America’s Veterinarian," Marty Becker, DVM, is a veterinary contributor to ABC-TVs "Good Morning America," the resident veterinarian on "The Dr. Oz Show" and the pet expert for the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).
Becker has promised to donate up to $1,000 to the Helping Pets Fund via his Facebook page. For every "Like" he gets on his page, Becker said he will donate a dollar.
