Bravo is voluntarily recalling some lots of its Bravo Turkey and Chicken pet foods for dogs and cats because of the potential for salmonella contamination.

According to the recall notice published on the FDA website, the recalled products were distributed nationwide to distributors, retail stores, Internet retailers, and directly to consumers beginning on Nov. 12, 2013. 

Bravo reported that the following products are being recalled because of potential salmonella contamination:

Bravo urged customers possessing recalled pet food to return the product to the point of purchase and submit a Product Recall Claim Form for a full refund or store credit.

KONG recalls some Aussie Sticks

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that KONG is recalling some of its Jumbo Aussie Sticks dog treats due to potential mold contamination.

According to news reports, the recalled treats were sold only at PetSmart and can be returned to PetSmart locations for a refund.
