- I am a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.
- I own Mid Atlantic Cat Hospital and Mid Atlantic Feline Thyroid Center in Queenstown, Maryland.
- I am the current president of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
- I enjoy hiking, biking, and generally being the typical introverted veterinarian.
- I am co-chair of the 2023 AAHA Selected Endocrinopathies of Dogs and Cats Guidelines task force.

- How to identify and manage the various forms of hyperthyroidsim, especially the ones that don't fit our usual image of the typical hyperthyroid cat.

- I’m originally from Dallas, Texas.
- I received my bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences and my DVM from Texas A&M.
- I completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Georgia (UGA).
- I became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2013.
- I founded the UGA Veterinary Diabetes & Endocrine Clinic.
- I am currently an associate clinical professor of internal medicine at Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
- I am the director of the Texas A&M Veterinary Endocrine Clinic.
- I am married to a veterinary radiologist and have three children, two dogs, and a cat.

- I enjoy working on paleopathology research in my spare time.
- I’m originally from Washington, DC
- I am a board-certified internal medicine specialist at BluePearl NE Portland.
- I completed a PhD in vertebrate paleontology in 2007 and got my DVM from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2011.
- I completed a rotating internship at UW in 2012, and did a partial specialty oncology clinical trials internship at UW.
- I started an internal medicine residency at Massey University and completed my residency at Purdue University.
- I completed an ACVIM Advanced Clinical Training Fellowship in nephrology and urology in 2017 and received a certificate of achievement in hemodialysis from UC Davis in 2018.
- I have mentored undergraduates, graduate students, professional students, specialty interns, and residents and served as an internship director at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists.
- I am involved in advocacy for gender-diverse individuals in the veterinary profession.
- I am President-Elect of ASVNU and a PrideVMC industry liaison.
- I currently serve on the scientific design review committee and IRB for BluePearl.

- I’m the author of Social Media and Marketing for Veterinary Professionals.
